Clancy Active returns for 2023

Article posted on: 9 May 2023

Yes, it’s back, and this year it’s for a whole week!

Following the success of last year's events during which we raised over £20,000 for charity throughout our 50th anniversary year, we're delighted to confirm that Clancy Active returns for 2023 and will be taking place from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th May.

Once again, a series of activities will be held around the country organised by our local offices. We’ll invite industry friends and colleagues to get involved and help us raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation and several local charities nominated by our staff.

On Thursday 25th May, the North West team (with some help from the Midlands) will host its eighth annual charity bike ride - the Clancy Active Sportive. For the 2023 Sportive, our team and their guests will embark on an entirely new route, taking in the delights of the Cheshire countryside (and it’s a bit flatter too!). If you would like to take part, you can sign up here.

The London team will be heading out for a scenic walk along the River Thames on Friday 26th May, picking up the Thames Walk from Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge. If you would like to participate, contact Sukh and look for more details on social media.

Our Norwich team will walk from Cromer to Wells-next-to-Sea the following week on 2nd June, supporting local charities, Nelson’s Journey and Sue Lambert Trust. Not one for the faint-hearted, this year's walk has much to live up to after last year's epic 50km stomp.

So, whether you walk, run or cycle (or something else), look out for how you can get involved, with more details coming soon…
