Clancy Active returns for its ninth year

The team has commenced training, and we are thrilled to announce that Clancy Active week is back in 2024, running from Monday 10th to Friday 14th June.

We launched Clancy Active back in 2015, primarily as a fundraising event for our lycra-loving friends and colleagues in the North West, and to encourage our team to get active. Over the years it has gained momentum, and last year we hosted our first week-long event. Due to its success it returns for 2024, with a series of activities being held around the country organised by our local offices. We'll be extending invitations to industry friends and colleagues to join us in our efforts to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and various local charities nominated by our staff.

Kicking off the action is the Birmingham team, who are excited to host their inaugural Midlands Sportive on Tuesday 11th. Led by Scott Lydon and Andy Humphries, a 40-mile cycling adventure in the West Midlands awaits the Clancy gang and their guests. If you're interested in participating, follow this link to sign-up.

Then something a little different on Thursday 13th. The London team will be hosting the ‘Great Pedalo Boat Race'. Yes, that's right, teams will compete to pedal their way around Victoria Park Lake. Places are limited, so get in touch with our London team if you would like to get involved.

Back in the saddle, the annual North West Sportive also takes place on Thursday 13th. Now a highly anticipated event in the regional property industry calendar, cyclists are welcome to join the Clancy team on a leisurely 35 or 57-miles around Cheshire. Sign up here to take part.

Walking boots at the ready for the end of the week. On Thursday, the Norwich team will embark on a 13-mile walk from Hoveton to Aylsham. They’re continuing their support for the Sue Lambert Trust as they take in the sights of the Bure Valley Walk along the stream railway track.

On Friday 14th, our Liverpool gang will be hiking along the North West coastline from Waterloo to Formby, whilst team members from Glasgow and Prestwick will be heading up Irish law, near Largs. Plenty of water and blister packs to be packed!

So, whether you prefer walking, cycling, or pedalo-ing, we look forward to seeing you soon. And, don’t worry if you are not able to join us, you can still get involved by making a donation on our JustGiving page here.
